    To respond to the distinct needs of young mothers living with HIV, peer supporters can be trained to provide structured psychosocial support. The authors assessed the feasibility of using young peers to deliver this psychosocial support.

    A cost analysis of comprehensive HIV services for key populations at higher risk of infection in Kenya and Malawi showed that costs can be substantial at all program implementation levels, not just service delivery; all these costs should be considered during program planning.

    Despite progress in providing antiretroviral therapy to pregnant women living with HIV, a substantial number of vertical transmissions continue to occur. Novel approaches leveraging modern potent, safe, and well-tolerated antiretroviral drugs are urgently needed.
