Following USAID funding cuts, GHSP was forced to temporarily shut down in February 2025. The Johns Hopkins Center for Communication Programs (CCP) restarted GHSP's operations in August 2025. For the next several months, we will focus on processing the backlog of manuscripts that had been previously submitted to GHSP, before we start accepting new author submissions.Johns Hopkins CCP is committed to keeping the GHSP journal open. But we can’t do it without you! Help us #KeepGHSPOpen and free for both readers and authors by making a donation at www.ccp.jhu.edu/donate. Select Global Health Science and Practice from the gift designation drop-down, and your donation will be automatically directed to GHSP. |
Review the checklist below to start preparing your manuscript for submission.
- Read our editorial policies.
- Carefully review the Instructions for Authors to ensure your submission is complete.
- Submit your manuscript to Global Health: Science and Practice.
- GHSP does not charge authors any fees to submit or publish an article.
- Please note, due to a significantly increased volume of manuscripts, please allow 6-8 weeks for screening. We apologize for the length of time and hope to get it back down to our regular 3-4 week timeframe soon.
Note: GHSP uses a double-blind peer review system which means the reviewers and the authors do not know each others' identities.
- Do not include any identifying information such as authors' names, affiliations, or acknowledgments in the manuscript.
- Include information on author names, affiliations, and acknowledgments on a separate title page, which is not visible to the reviewers, and you will be able to enter that information in data entry fields when you provide details about your manuscript.
- Do not include any author names or initials in the file names.
If you have any questions, please contact the Editorial Office at editorialoffice@ghspjournal.org.
