Assessment of knowledge, attitudes and practices regarding tuberculosis among final year students in Yazd, central Iran
2014, Journal of Epidemiology and Global HealthCitation Excerpt :The questionnaire in this study encompassed all domains of TB, so it evaluated students better than previous studies with limited questions. In the present study, the most worrisome finding was the lack of knowledge about TB transmission, as two-thirds of students did not know the distance that should be kept from contagious patients in spite of their recognition that the usual route of TB transmission is aerosol [5]. The limitation of this study was the self-reporting nature of assessment of practice among students.
