Operative management of intrauterine device complications: A case series report
2010, ContraceptionCitation Excerpt :Other studies addressing IUD perforations have been case reports or case series. However, most of these reports are derived from a group of experienced providers following a uniform protocol and reporting a very low complication rate [4]. This limits the external validity of this data to more heterogeneous provider groups.
