Theme 3Low salaries in relation to workload, poor housing options, and lack of appreciation were the most common reasons for leaving the public system.
Theme 4Job security, continuing education, and public service agreement were primary motivations for continuing to work in the public system.
Theme 5Nurses felt both supported and a sense of belonging, as well as a desire to give back to the community, due to the GAIA scholarship program.
