For more information about publishing a supplement, please read our Guidelines for GHSP Supplements.
If you are interested in proposing a supplement, please send a concept paper to Natalie Culbertson that includes:
- The working title of the supplement
- Purpose
- Suggested guest editors
- List of the articles to be published (including abstract and authors if available)
- The date you would like the issue published
- Funding information
When planning a supplement, please keep the following in mind:
- Manuscripts should be solicited from a variety of groups working on the topic.
- Make sure you have strong author representation from country-based implementers.
- Supplement articles go through the same process as articles in our regular issues and so must be peer reviewed by 2-3 reviewers.
- A GHSP Associate Editor will be assigned to your supplement to review the articles for adherence to GHSP standards.
- All articles should be submitted at least 6 months prior to the desired publication date.
- Supplements are edited in the style and format of GHSP.
- Supplements are published on the GHSP website, promoted to all alert subscribers, and indexed by numerous sites including PubMed, MEDLINE, and Web of Science.
- There is a fee to publish supplements.
