  • GHSP-D-14-00228 Supplementary Material

Sullivan et al. doi: 10.9745/GHSP-D-14-00228 The Bangladesh Knowledge Management Initiative (BKMI) developed the standardized assessment tools below to vet resources to be included in the electronic Health, Population and Nutrition Toolkit. Subject matter experts first measured the technical accuracy and quality of proposed materials. Then field workers vetted the high-scoring materials with a separate assessment tool for comprehension, appropriateness of messaging, and usability in counseling. In addition, part of the mandate of the BKMI project was to strengthen the Ministry of Health and Family Welfare capacity in knowledge management (KM) and social and behavior change communication (SBCC). BKMI conducted a 2-part baseline assessment in each of the government units to understand KM and SBCC capacity, and then reassessed capacity at endline. The baseline and endline assessment tools are also included on this page. Readers are welcome to use or adapt these tools in their own programs.
